Hakuna Wear Presents the Launch of the Aloha Shirt Recycled Unisex Rash Guard
San Diego, CA – Hakuna Wear is launching their Aloha Shirt Recycled Unisex Rash Guard for summer on Friday, July 17, 2020, on their website and in four retail locations.
Hakuna Wear is proud to be an innovator of eco friendly surf gear in the surf + water sport industries. Hakuna Wear emerged onto the scene with its sensible pocket with key loop on every product, then Bikini Lock ™ to keep your suit in place no matter the size of the wave, side-tie board short for comfort when paddling and now the Aloha Shirt Recycled Unisex Rash Guard.
The Aloha Shirt Recycled Rash Guard is sun and rash protection at its finest. The high neck collar and UPF50 material offer stellar sun protection on an original hand-painted watercolor print that brings the aloha spirit to life. The breast pocket is fitted with a key loop inside, rubber buttons, and quick dry lightweight board short material for a no worries day. The 4-way stretch material is responsibly made from recycled plastic water bottles. Cutting edge design never felt so comfortable and looked so good.
“In many cases there seems to be a lack of innovation and passion behind product development in the surf and water sports industry. Hakuna Wear is a breath of fresh air, merging passion, style, function, and innovation.”
Pre-orders are taking place here. Use the code ALOHAPREORDER20 FOR 20%.
Hakuna Wear was started in Encinitas, CA after a tropical surf trip filled with wardrobe malfunctions and no pockets for a hotel key or cash lit a spark in a surfing scientist’s mind. Hakuna’s founder, Jessica Boynton, took her love of surfing, her PhD in chemistry, and her passion for fashion and developed innovative swimwear with no worries. Her designs have pockets to stash your essentials, are surf-tested in overhead surf to stay put, and are made with recycled and plant-based fabrics. All designed in the heart of San Diego, California, USA. www.hakunawear.com
